Pelagion Marketing was founded in 2023 — originally as Blueprint Social Media — at a moment when AI was beginning to change the way people search for information online. We could see that the rules of marketing visibility were shifting fast, and we wanted to help small businesses keep up. As we grew and our focus evolved, we changed our name to Pelagion Marketing. The word 'Pelagion' comes from 'Pelagos' — the open sea in Greek mythology, symbolic of endless freedom and opportunity. We felt it perfectly captured the spirit of what we do: helping business owners see beyond the overwhelm to the possibilities on the other side. Today, Pelagion Marketing works with small business owners across the UK, providing strategic marketing consultancy, coaching, and practical support — helping them build marketing that finally works.
Hi, I’m Jemma — founder of Pelagion Marketing and the person you’ll work with directly.
I’ve spent over 20 years working in marketing — starting in [CHECK: your early career context, e.g. ‘large corporate organisations / agency-side / in-house’] before moving into consultancy work with smaller businesses. That journey gave me a rare perspective: I understand what best-in-class marketing looks like at scale, and I know how to translate that into something practical and affordable for a small business owner.
I set up Pelagion Marketing because I kept meeting brilliant business owners who were working incredibly hard but getting nowhere with their marketing. Not because they weren’t trying — but because no one had helped them build the right strategy for their business.
My approach is warm, practical, and completely jargon-free. I’m not here to dazzle you with buzzwords or sell you services you don’t need. I’m here to help you get clear on what will actually work — and then help you do it.
